Maybe everything old isn’t new again, but you never know when a throwback with re-emerge.

Part of “I Ain’t Mad At Cha’s” instrumentalization was reprised in the Super Bowl LVI halftime show on February 13, 2022, bringing in new exposure 27 years after its inception.

First recorded the day after Tupac Shakur was released from prison in October of 1995, “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” was the fourth and final single from the album All Eyze On Me.

The album was released September 15, 1996, two days after Shakur's death. Perhaps a coda to the life he was about to leave, it reflects on the people he has lost over the years – friends, lovers, and associates. He incorporated poetry and rawness, but always maintained his cool.
