Raymond Scott (born Harry Warnow,) is best known for his many “descriptive jazz” arrangements, most often heard nowadays in many of Warner Brothers original Looney Tunes cartoons. Quirky and inventive, his songs are instantly recognizable by everyone. Fun fact: the drummer in his original Raymond Scott Quintette was John Williams Sr. – father of the famous film composer.
